Resources to learn about and help Palestinians in Gaza

UNRWA USA: Showing Palestine refugees that Americans care   UNRWA has been providing healthcare, mental health services, food supplies and schools in Gaza for decades. More than 60 UNRWA employees in Gaza have been killed since October 8, and 42 UNRWA facilities have been damaged.

American Friends Service Committee provides many resources about Palestine and Israel online and has a weekly zoom meeting on Fridays to provide updates on the situation in Gaza.   AFSC Action Hour: Ceasefire Now – Google Docs

Palestine Children’s Relief Fund  was founded in 1991 by concerned humanitarians in the USA and provides free medical care for Palestinian children.

Do They Think We’re Fools?

We’re living in an age of deep hypocrisy; the good news is that the youth recognize it, are calling it out and demanding accountability. 

Witness the Energy Conference in Albuquerque on Sept. 14 where politicians and fossil fuel CEOs patted each other on the back while sanctimoniously discussing the “all-of-the-above-approach” to de-carbonization. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that the fossil fuel industry embraces the “all-of-the-above-approach” because blue hydrogen production and wishful thinking about the future of CCS (carbon capture and sequestration) enables the industry to keep drilling and pumping.  PDA-CNM joined the youth and indigenous groups protesting outside the conference hotel.
