Please sign this Letter To The Leaders  to show your support for having a New Mexico Green Amendment securing your RIGHT to clean water and air, healthy soils and native ecosystems, a safe climate, and healthy environment.The New Mexico Green Amendment has been pre-filed in the House and the Senate. The two pre-filed versions are slightly different.  Each version reflects feedback received from New Mexico community members and government leaders. The goal of having two complimentary but slightly different versions is to see which version resonates best with New Mexicans.  (You can find the pre-filed language below)

It is essential that New Mexico leaders know there is broad, strong and growing support for a New Mexico Green Amendment.

The letter expresses the importance of having a New Mexico Green Amendment and takes on some of the misinformation the opposition has been circulating:  ü  Read the letter and add your name here.

Thoughtful, strategic and sustained action. The Progressive Democrats of America is committed to all three to build a future where our shared progressive vision thrives and nurtures everyone.

According to Carbon Brief, if global CO2 emissions continue at current levels, the world has less than five years before the world’s remaining carbon budget runs out and the dangerous and irreversible 1.5 degree Celsius threshold is breached.
