Saturday, January 21, was a historic day, as millions of women and their male supporters, children, and pets marched in resistance to Donald Trump, and in support of women’s rights everywhere. We all saw moving
pictures of the people, the signs, the songs, and the eloquence of the speakers in DC. If you attended the Albuquerque rally, as many of you did, you saw civic plaza filled with 10,000 people, give or take a few. Santa Fe had thousands, and there were rallies throughout NM and in every state in the union.
So many turned out in DC that Trump had to make his usual big deal disputing the numbers and letting you know his inauguration was number one (sure, you bet). There were marches on all 7 continents, including 30 people at Antarctica marching with their penguin buddies.
