PDA is participating in this event and we are encouraging anyone who is a supporter of PDA to join us. This event is being planned by several progressive groups and led by National Nurses United and People for Bernie to map a strategy for moving forward the progressive movement inspired by Bernie.
We will have much more to report at our July meeting when our PDA Executive Director Donna Smith will be joining us at our July 13 PDACNM meeting in Albuquerque. Let’s keep our enthusiasm. Bernie was never just about Bernie and he was the first to acknowledge that. It’s a movement!

Sanders allies plot meeting to discuss future of the movement
“The progressive movement that supported Sanders existed before his campaign and will continue after it. But Sanders has expanded it and unified it in a way that creates the potential for a powerful post-election force in politics if it can retain at least some cohesion.”
